Pastry chef Cheryl Wakerhauser (a.k.a. Pix), is known for her eccentric and distinctive style that intertwines flavors and textures. After a short-lived career studying to be an astronaut, Cheryl trained at the pâtisserie of MOF Philippe Urraca in Southern France. In 2001 she moved to Portland and set up shop at the Portland Farmers Market. The next year, the first Pix Pâtisserie opened its doors, bringing European flare and edible art to Portland with an assortment of elegant pastries and handmade chocolates. To complement each delectable masterpiece, Pix Pâtisserie serves an array of dessert wines, Belgian beers, and fine spirits. Each location serves our signature pastries but with each shop having its own personality!

Pix Patisserie SE Division St: Kitschy and cute, Pix Patisserie’s original establishment is known for its bright yellow walls, comfy shoulder-to-shoulder seating, and oh-so smart waiting staff. Enjoy one of over 30 beers, a tasty dessert wine or Batdorf & Bronson coffee. This shop also plays host to many of Pix’s special events such as Dessert Dim Sum, Three Ring Circus, or Concoct Yo’ Own Dessert night. Opened in January 2003, this dessert boutique hosts a kitchen of talented and hardworking pastry chefs that are the co-creators of our masterpieces and single handedly make Pix Patisserie’s line of ice creams.

Pix Patisserie North Williams: Open since October 2005, Pix’s second location boasts a chocolate laboratory! Customers can peek in on our mad scientists in the kitchen through little windows while sipping on one of many top shelf liquors or perhaps a Stumptown Coffee Rosemary Mocha.

All grown up and chic, Pix’s North Portland location has an upbeat fancy demeanor that’s dotted with monkeys and fuzzy red wall paper. Visit our North location on Monday for a free movie at Monday Movie Madness, or on Thursday for Flight Night where various themed pours of unique liquors, wines and beer just $10 with some education to boot ~ what a deal!
